Three Bells A'Ringing takes 3rd place in the Dallas Camera Club's last monthly competition of the club year for the month of February, 2024. This was open competition for club members in the Advanced Photographer Class-Color Print Category. Judge was North Texas professional photographer Andy Lay who judged this image with a score of 93 out of 100 (Superior).

Manitou Springs Cafe Facade takes 2nd place in Dallas Camera Club monthly competition for the month of December, 2023. This was open competition for club members in the Advanced Photographer Class-Color Print Category. Judge was North Texas photographic educator Nate Rehlander who judged this image with a score of 95 out of 100 (Exceptional).

Dallas Camera Club’s monthly competition results for September 2023 are in. Judge for Advanced Photographer Class-Color Print Category was professional photographer John Shipes of Dallas, Texas. Mr. Shipes judged "Coneflower" 94 out of 100 points (Superior) and awarded it Honorable Mention.

Third Place in Advanced Photographer Class-Color Print Category is awarded to "Calla Lily", judged 90 out of 100 points (Superior) by commercial and fine art photographer and educator Edgar Miller of Fort Worth, Texas. The occasion is Dallas Camera Club monthly contest for August 2023.

I'm pleased to announce that Reflecting On Calla Lilies is 1 of 183 pieces accepted into the Rockwall Art League 23rd Annual Juried Fine Art Show & Sale. Juror for this show is Jessica Fuentes, a Fort Worth resident, artist, educator, author and museum consultant. The show runs from September 22 - 30, 2023 at Cavender's Nissan, 1700 I-30, Rockwall, Texas 75087 (Pre-owned Bldg). Reception and awards ceremony is on Saturday, September 23, 5-7pm. This piece is labeled Calla Lilies for the show.

I am so pleased to announce print judge Teresa Rafidi, professional photographer based in Dallas Texas, has awarded 2nd place to Ripe Orange Pepper for Advanced Photographer Class-Color Print Category. Judge Rafidi scored Lily 95 out of 100 points (Exceptional) during DCC June 2023 monthly contest.

At the Dallas Camera Club, Tulip B&W was awarded 2nd Place in Master Photographer Class-Monochrome Print category for May 2023. Judge was Diane Durant, photographic educator and artist, of Dallas, Texas. Tulip B&W was judged 94 out of 100 points (Superior).

Taking 2nd place, I am pleased to announce my Ranunculus #3 was awarded 2022-2023 advanced color print image of the year. Judges were John and Lois Lehman, master photographers, Plano Photography Club. Results of judging was announced during DCC Annual Awards Banquet held April 11, 2023 at Celebration restaurant in Dallas, Texas.
